Responsibilities of the Senior IP Associate:
- Advising a global client base on a broad spectrum of intellectual property matters, encompassing soft IP, trade secrets, and IT law
- Providing pragmatic and commercially focused guidance on copyright, trademark, design, and media law
- Overseeing and negotiating IP-driven transactions, including licensing agreements, tech transfers, and associated commercial contracts
- Assisting with advertising clearance and providing strategic support during intellectual property disputes
- Handling digital and tech-related IP challenges, such as online platform liability and software copyright protection
- Translating complex legal frameworks into actionable, practical advice for businesses
Candidate Profile:
- Master's degree in Dutch law
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within an intellectual property practice
- Comprehensive knowledge of IP law and a strong awareness of the latest market and legislative developments
- Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to convey intricate legal concepts in an accessible manner
- An entrepreneurial, results-driven, and proactive approach to legal practice
- Fluent communication skills in both Dutch and English
