Chief Financial Officer | Singapore

Our client, an established global manufacturing group, is appointing a Chief Financial Officer to lead its Singapore-based finance function.
 
The role
This is a business leadership role as much as a finance one. Alongside ownership of controls, reporting and forecasting, you will work directly with the commercial team on customer pricing and contract negotiations, and act as the financial lead on major investment decisions. You will report into group finance leadership and work closely with the executive team. Strategically, you will build and challenge business cases for capital and project spend, help leadership decide where resources are best focused, and keep the management reporting rhythm disciplined and relevant as priorities shift. You will also oversee the full finance remit: planning, budgeting and rolling forecasts; cost accounting, inventory and standard costing in a manufacturing environment; treasury, cash and FX; tax and transfer pricing; and internal controls and audit readiness. Developing the team is a core expectation, from coaching individuals to reshaping the finance structure as the business scales.
 
What we're looking for

• Substantial senior finance leadership experience, typically 15 years or more, in electronics manufacturing, industrial or similarly complex operational businesses
• A track record of negotiating directly with customers and governing pricing and deal approvals
• Depth across FP&A, controllership, cost accounting  
• Clear, confident communication and the ability to influence senior executives
• A genuine commitment to building and developing people
• Degree in accounting, finance or business, with a recognised professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent)
