Sales Manager (Industrial Components)
Our client is a premier global manufacturer and engineering provider of high-performance industrial components for fliud control targeting heavy industries. Headquartered globally, the company is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive local commercial growth and operational excellence across Thailand. In this hybrid leadership role, you will take full commercial ownership of the local sales team, customer service, and key account management based out of the Rayong site.
You will serve as the core operational bridge between local commercial execution on the Eastern Seaboard and regional leadership overseas.

Based out of Rayong, this position ensures seamless coordination between local commercial operations (including sales, account management, and customer support) and regional executive leadership in Australia.

POSITION PURPOSE: The Sales Manager holds total responsibility for commercial execution, team leadership, and sales operations across Thailand. Based out of Rayong, this position ensures seamless coordination between local commercial operations (including sales, account management, and customer support) and regional executive leadership in Australia.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct and manage the local commercial team (Technical Sales Engineers, Customer Service, and Sales Operations).
- Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and operational workflows to ensure high customer satisfaction and efficient order handling.
- Ensure tight alignment between sales strategy, customer delivery, and local administrative support.
- Drive commercial expansion for high-performance industrial flow solutions across key sectors, including Petrochemical, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and General Manufacturing.
- Personally oversee key strategic accounts, high-value contracts, and key engineering consultants/EPCs.
- Monitor sales pipeline, deal velocity, profitability margins, and key account retention. Collaborate directly with Australian executive leadership to build annual commercial strategies and sales forecasts.
- Provide continuous market intelligence, competitor insights, and revenue tracking reports to regional management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical field)
- Technical commercial experience in B2B industrial manufacturing, fluid transfer technology, flow control systems, or industrial piping/connectors.
- Proven experienced in direct team management experience overseeing technical sales or commercial operations personnel.
- Proven leadership ability to manage both direct sales representatives and internal support/customer service teams.
- Solid understanding of financial metrics, commercial deal structuring, and account profitability.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic account management skills. Business-fluent English and Thai (essential for direct interaction with overseas leadership). Based in or capable of working on-site in Rayong 3 days per week, with flexibility for customer site visits across the Eastern Seaboard.
