Position Overview
We are seeking dependable Manufacturing Associates to support the safe and efficient production of specialty coatings, adhesives, and sealants. This role involves operating production equipment, monitoring product quality, handling raw materials, and assisting with packaging while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
Essential Responsibilities

Follow all company safety policies, SOPs, and operating procedures.

Wear and maintain required PPE for assigned tasks.

Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.

Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process and report any issues.

Perform production line start-up and shutdown procedures.
-
Cross-train on multiple production lines and workstations.
-
Maintain accurate production counts and complete required documentation.
-
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Perform basic autonomous maintenance, including greasing, cleaning, and adjusting equipment.

Assist with training new Manufacturing Associates and General Laborers.

Support production needs by performing general labor duties as assigned.

Participate in safety meetings and support plant safety initiatives.

Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
Required Qualifications
-
Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
-
Ability to follow written procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
-
Strong attention to detail.
-
Basic math skills.
-
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
-
Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
-
Ability to understand and follow safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and Hazard Communication.

Strong communication skills.
-
Ability to work mandatory overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Forklift experience.
-
Experience in chemical or light chemical manufacturing.
-
Experience working with production equipment and industrial processes.
-
Familiarity with SOPs and quality standards.
Physical Requirements
-
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds safely.
-
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.

Frequent walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and reaching.

Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks.
-
Ability to work in varying temperatures within a manufacturing plant.
-
Corrected or uncorrected vision of 20/20.
