Pay Rate: $27.00 – $31.00/hr
POSITION SUMMARY
Our client, a major power generation company, is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join a Central Maintenance – Special Projects organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction/renewables industry, demonstrated experience in project management, and experience interfacing with a wide variety of stakeholders across multiple disciplines. In this role, the Project Coordinator will collaborate with and assist a Senior Project Manager across a wide range of Wind, Solar, and Battery Storage projects. A technical background (understanding of mechanical/electrical aspects, field construction techniques, equipment, etc.) is not required but preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary
- Identify potential risks and technical challenges, and develop solutions
- Plan and manage team goals, project schedules, and new information
- Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track
- Manage project-related paperwork, ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored
- Direct project correspondence by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes, and emails
- Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives
- Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Experience in the construction/renewables industry preferred
- Demonstrated experience in project management
- Experience interfacing with a wide variety of stakeholders across multiple disciplines
- Technical background (mechanical/electrical, field construction techniques, equipment) not required but preferred
