This is a hands-on data role, where you will get into the detail of the data, working with business SMEs and functional teams to determine what should migrate, what needs cleansing or rationalising, and how information should map into S/4HANA.
You will own assigned data objects across the migration lifecycle, from scoping and source-to-target mapping through cleansing, migration, reconciliation, defect resolution, dress rehearsals and production cutover.

You will own assigned data objects across the migration lifecycle, from scoping and source-to-target mapping through cleansing, migration, reconciliation, defect resolution, dress rehearsals and production cutover.
This is: what you'll do
- Analyse legacy MS Dynamics ERP and other source-system data to identify duplicates, inconsistencies and data quality issues
- Drive hands-on data cleansing, de-duplication and rationalisation across multiple legacy environments
- Collaborate with business SMEs to resolve incomplete, conflicting or duplicate records and determine the appropriate migration treatment
- Define and maintain source-to-target mappings between legacy platforms and SAP S/4HANA
- Manage assigned data objects through migration cycles, including mock conversions, dress rehearsals and production cutover
- Deliver pre-load and post-load validation, reconciliation and data integrity checks
- Investigate migration defects, identify root causes and coordinate resolution across business, functional and technical teams
- Support migration of FI/CO and MM data, including procurement and purchase order-related information
- Maintain clear documentation covering mapping, cleansing, validation, defects, risks, dependencies and migration outcomes
- Collaborate with the Data Lead, functional consultants, testing teams, developers, business SMEs and delivery partners throughout the transformation
- Significant hands-on SAP data migration experience gained within large ERP or S/4HANA transformation programs
- Strong experience across data cleansing, mapping, transformation, reconciliation and validation
- Demonstrated success working with poor-quality, duplicated or inconsistent legacy data
- Experience migrating data from non-SAP or legacy ERP environments into SAP S/4HANA
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or AX 2012 will be highly regarded
- Strong SAP data knowledge across FI/CO and/or MM
- Experience with procurement and purchase order-related data is highly desirable
- Understanding of both SAP master and transactional data structures
- Experience owning data objects through multiple migration cycles, dress rehearsals and production cutover
- Strong source-to-target mapping, defect investigation and root-cause analysis capability
- Confidence working directly with business SMEs to resolve complex data issues and make migration decisions
- Experience within multi-ERP environments involving overlapping data is highly regarded
- Knowledge of data governance, quality controls and regulated or audit-controlled environments such as JSOX will be advantageous
- Play a hands-on role in a significant S/4HANA transformation with a complex multi-system data landscape
- Tackle meaningful data challenges created by legacy systems and acquisition activity
- Build further S/4HANA transformation experience across Finance, Procurement and Materials Management data
