Responsibilities and Duties
As the Temporary Accounts Assistant, you will:
  • Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Assist with account reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
  • Support month-end finance activities and reporting processes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with a variety of accounting and administrative tasks as required.
  • Ensure compliance with established financial procedures and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with the wider finance team to support daily operations.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:
  • Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally three or more years.
  • Experience managing accounts payable processes.
  • Experience performing bank reconciliations.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to commute to the East End.
