Job Description:
We are searching for an experienced Installation Technician with a background in manufacturing and an awareness of field service operations. The role involves the installation of machinery, interpreting technical drawings, and engaging directly with clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a time-served apprenticeship or equivalent experience who are eager to develop their skills and work in a dynamic global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of machinery (product-specific training provided)
- Establishing and maintaining site service contracts with external providers
- Fault-finding and servicing machines where required
- The ability and knowledge of being able to troubleshoot.
- Understanding and working with technical/engineering drawings
- Working flexibly between home and travel-based assignments
Skills & Experience:
- HNC qualification (time-served apprenticeship preferred)
- Experience in a manufacturing industry
- Customer-facing communication skills
- Awareness of field service roles and responsibilities
- Servicing, repair, and fault-finding experience (desired)
