Job Description:
As Supply Chain Buyer, you will help maintain continuity of supply, manage purchasing requirements and support effective material flow across the business.
The Supply Chain Buyer will obtain quotations, evaluate commercial proposals and manage purchase orders through the ERP system. You will use MRP and purchasing data to inform decisions, research suppliers and support material forecasting.
Working across Planning, Customer Services, Commercial, Technical Support, Stores and Finance, the Supply Chain Buyer will communicate supply risks and coordinate the resolution of pricing, delivery, invoice and incoming material quality issues.
You will also monitor supplier performance, investigate purchase price variances, identify savings opportunities and contribute to audits and continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience:
For this Supply Chain Buyer position, you will bring:

Strong understanding of procurement principles, MRP planning and ERP systems.

Clear communication and the ability to build effective supplier and internal relationships.
