- Location: Applied Materials, 9700 US Hwy 290 East, Austin, TX 78724
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
- Work Arrangement: Onsite
- Technical Quality Engineering Opportunity in Semiconductor Manufacturing
- Create and monitor metrics to identify discrepant material trends
- Analyze manufacturing data and reduce scrap/non-conforming material
- Utilize SQL, Tableau, and advanced Excel analytics
- Assign and track quality improvement projects
- Facilitate meetings and provide project updates
- Train operations personnel on quality processes
- Perform root cause investigations and corrective actions
- Generate failure analysis reports
- Collaborate with Supplier Quality Engineers
- Drive Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field
- 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience
- Manufacturing or Semiconductor industry experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- SQL and Tableau experience preferred
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
