About the Company

Davidson is partnering with Humes, a division of Holcim Australia to recruit an Area Manager for their Rockhampton business. A leader in pre-cast concrete products Humes have operations across Australia with a strong customer base and solid pipeline of future construction projects.


About the Role

Due to internal movements, an opportunity now exists for an experienced Area Manager to join the Rockhampton team and lead Humes to continued success across the busy Central Queensland region.


The Area Manager is accountable for the operational, commercial and financial performance of multiple sites across Central Queensland, customer accounts and operational teams. The role has full accountability for profit and loss performance and operational excellence. The role will lead site-based teams to deliver safe, efficient and customer focused outcomes while executing regional business objectives and driving sustainable growth.

About You

To be considered for this genuine career opportunity, it is expected you will possess:

· Proven team leadership experience, ideally gained in a manufacturing, industrial or construction multi-site environment.

· Strong focus on and experience in building, maintaining and improving exceptional safety culture.

· Previous success in managing full profit and loss performance for a region.

· Exceptional interpersonal skills allowing the development and management of positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients and other partners.

· Engineering, business or other relevant qualifications
