Health & Safety Officer – Cork (Multinational Food Company)

Join a leading multinational food manufacturer based just outside Cork City. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping a proactive safety culture within a fast-paced production environment, working closely with site leadership and operations teams.

The Role
You’ll act as a trusted H&S advisor across the plant, focused on preventing incidents, reducing risk and driving continuous improvement. Partnering with production and engineering, you’ll ensure best practices are embedded and full compliance with regulatory and group standards is maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion a positive, proactive safety culture across site
  • Identify, assess and mitigate health & safety risks
  • Maintain H&S policies, procedures and documentation
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Support audits, inspections and compliance activities
  • Use data insights to drive continuous improvement

About You

  • Degree or Diploma in Health & Safety (Level 7/8) or equivalent
  • Experience in manufacturing or a regulated environment (FMCG an advantage)
  • IOSH membership or working towards Chartered status desirable
