Summary: Nesco Resource is seeking a Property Care Assistant to support building maintenance, cleaning, and event operations in a multi-use facility. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, supporting events, and assisting with basic maintenance and security tasks. The ideal candidate is reliable, hands-on, and comfortable working independently during evenings and weekends.

Pay Rate:

• $18.00 – $20.00/Hour

Shift: Part-Time | Thursday – Sunday | Primarily Evenings (Approximately 30 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning and custodial duties to maintain facility cleanliness and appearance
• Clean and organize multiple building areas including offices, common spaces, and event areas
• Assist with setup and breakdown of events, including tables, seating, and A/V equipment
• Support building operations during events and act as a point of contact for guests and tenants
• Handle incoming calls and assist with basic front desk/security functions
• Monitor building access and communicate with maintenance as needed
• Assist with snow removal and seasonal maintenance tasks
• Ensure sound systems and microphones are set up and functioning properly
• Follow established cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in custodial, maintenance, or facilities support preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain clean, organized spaces
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with guests and staff
• Ability to work independently and respond to issues as they arise
• Flexible and dependable with strong attendance

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Ability to perform light maintenance and custodial tasks
• Indoor and occasional outdoor work (snow removal, building access)
• Event-based environment with varying activity levels
