CBW Staffing Solutions are working with a high-profile, client-direct commercial campus in Whitechapel to find a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their on-site engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a modern, forward-thinking environment where your expertise will be valued and rewarded.

This is a Monday-to-Friday schedule offering excellent work-life balance. You’ll be the go-to person for fabric and general maintenance tasks across the estate—no two days will be the same.

 
What You’ll Be Doing

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution)
• Emergency lighting
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Chillers - Re-set
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
• UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings
• Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
• Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
• Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
• Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
• Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
• Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
• Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.

 
Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00am – 16:30pm

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 Electrical certification 
• Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
• Hands-on skills across multiple trades (fabric, basic mechanical/electrical)
• Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive mindset
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
