Apply directA leading children’s hospital and expanding neurology practice in Greenville, North Carolina, are seeking a visionary, board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Neurologist to serve as Medical Director of Pediatric Neurology. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established neuroscience program and provide leadership in the continued development and expansion of pediatric neurology services throughout eastern North Carolina.
The Medical Director will help establish the program’s clinical vision, expand pediatric neurology services, and build a comprehensive, multidisciplinary program designed to meet the needs of children across a 29-county service area. The position is supported by a state-of-the-art children’s hospital, a nationally recognized neuroscience service line, and a large regional health system, allowing the incoming physician to shape the future of pediatric neuroscience while maintaining a rewarding clinical practice.

- Established clinical neuroscience team consisting of 10 neurosurgeons, including a pediatric neurosurgeon, and more than 20 neurologists
- Neurology team includes an interventional neurologist, four vascular neurologists, four neurointensivists, and 13 subspecialty neurologists
- Neurology subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache medicine, neuromuscular medicine, sleep medicine, and intraoperative monitoring
- Teaching and clinical research opportunities available
- Built-in referral network consisting of eight regional community hospitals and an extensive network of ambulatory practices
- Pediatric transport resources include North Carolina’s only pediatric medical transport helicopter
- On-site infusion suite
- In-office laboratory, EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction study capabilities
