Cost Manager – Data Centres

Redpath Partners are recruiting on behalf of a leading global cost and project management consultancy for an experienced Cost Manager to join their Sydney team.

The role will focus on delivering cost management services across a growing portfolio of Data Centre and mission-critical projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor or Cost Manager looking to build their experience within one of the fastest-growing sectors in the Australian market.

The Role

• Provide end-to-end cost management and quantity surveying services across major projects.
• Prepare and manage cost plans, estimates, budgets and financial reports.
• Support procurement, tendering and contract administration activities.
• Manage variations, valuations, forecasting and final accounts.
• Work closely with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the delivery of large-scale, technically complex projects within the data centre sector.

About You

• Minimum 2 years' PQS / consultancy Quantity Surveying experience in Australia or internationally.
• Strong understanding of cost planning, estimating and cost management.
• Experience working across the full project lifecycle from pre-contract through to post-contract.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Previous data centre / mission-critical experience is highly regarded but not essential.
• Experience across commercial, industrial, infrastructure or other complex built environment projects will also be considered.
• Relevant Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related qualification.
