Design & Build are currently seeking an experienced Foreman to join a well-established contractor working on a major industrial new build project in Jimboomba.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the roadworks package, coordinating trades, subcontractors and day-to-day site activities to ensure the works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

About the Role
  • Supervise day-to-day site activities and coordinate trades and subcontractors.
  • Take responsibility for the roadworks package on the project.
  • Coordinate labour, plant, materials and site resources.
  • Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications.
  • Liaise with the Site Manager and Project Manager.
  • Monitor progress and assist with maintaining the project programme.
  • Maintain site documentation, quality and safety standards.
  • Identify and resolve issues on site.
About You
  • Proven experience as a Foreman within commercial construction.
  • Some civil construction experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience working on new build projects.
  • Strong ability to coordinate trades, subcontractors and site activities.
  • Good understanding of construction sequencing and site safety.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your work area.
  • Available to start ASAP.
  • Able to commit to a long-term contract through to May 2027.
