CSA Project Manager

V7 Recruitment are looking for an experienced CSA Project Manager to join a major Data Centre project in Amstelveen, Netherlands.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead the successful delivery of CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) packages on a high-profile mission-critical project. As the senior on-site leader for CSA works, you will be responsible for project delivery, quality, safety, commercial performance and client satisfaction, ensuring all works are completed to the highest standards and in line with programme objectives.

Working closely with project teams, consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders, you will play a critical role in driving project success from pre-construction through to handover.

Key Responsibilities Project Delivery

• Lead the planning, management and delivery of CSA packages in line with programme, budget and project specifications.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, commercial, design and construction functions.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks and implement mitigation measures where required.
• Ensure resources are effectively allocated to achieve project milestones and delivery targets.
• Maintain accurate reporting on programme, costs, quality and key performance metrics.
• Drive successful project execution while maintaining focus on safety, quality and client satisfaction.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance.
• Ensure all works comply with design requirements, project specifications and statutory regulations.
• Implement and monitor project-specific quality plans, inspection regimes and method statements.
• Support project audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement across project teams and subcontractors.

Commercial & Contract Management

• Manage project budgets, cost forecasts, variations and cash flow.
• Work closely with commercial teams to ensure accurate reporting and effective contract administration.
• Oversee procurement activities and monitor subcontractor performance.
• Support tendering, bid reviews and pre-construction planning activities when required.
• Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency, value and profitability.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor project teams, promoting accountability, collaboration and professional development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
• Chair progress and coordination meetings, ensuring actions are communicated and delivered effectively.
• Act as the primary point of contact for project-related decisions, escalations and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure clear communication and alignment across all project stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience Essential

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering CSA packages within a Tier 1 construction, engineering or mission-critical environment.
• Strong understanding of project controls, contract administration and construction management principles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects from inception through to completion.
• Relevant health and safety qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, Safe Pass or equivalent.

Desirable

• Professional membership (or working towards membership) with organisations such as CIOB, RICS, ICE or similar recognised bodies.
• Postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Construction Management or Business Management.
• Training or experience in Lean Construction methodologies.
• Experience with digital project delivery, BIM and construction technology platforms.
• Knowledge of sustainability initiatives and modern construction practices.
• Previous experience delivering data centre or other mission-critical construction projects.
