SAP Trainer / Sr. IDD

Overview

Client is seeking an SAP Training Lead to deliver end-user training supporting an SAP implementation. This role will become proficient in training materials developed by the project team, participate in Train-the-Trainer sessions, and deliver classroom-based training at locations in New York City or Los Angeles. Strong SAP Master Data Governance knowledge is required.

Core Responsibilities

• Review and become proficient in all project-provided training materials.
• Attend Train-the-Trainer sessions led by project team resources.
• Deliver SAP end-user training at designated locations.
• Coordinate training schedules, resources, logistics, and readiness activities.
• Support role-based curricula, job aids, simulations, and SAP training materials.
• Apply instructional design theory and adult learning principles during training delivery.
• Coordinate the loading of courses into learning management systems.
• Provide go-live training support and conduct post-training evaluations.
• Track and report training progress, issues, risks, and readiness.
• Ensure training activities align with the end-user training strategy, project objectives, and established timelines.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

• Strong working knowledge of SAP Master Data Governance.
• 3 years of experience with major ERP systems.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with various SAP modules.
• Experience delivering end-user or classroom-based training.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design theory and adult learning principles.
• Ability to learn established course materials and deliver engaging, effective training.
• Experience coordinating training plans, schedules, resources, or logistics.
• Expert proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills or Experience

• SAP S/4HANA project experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with various SAP modules.
• Professional services or Big 4 consulting experience.
• Experience with Workday Learning or another learning management system.
• Experience with SAP Enable Now, WalkMe, or a similar content creation tool.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

Work Details

• Candidates must be located near New York City or Los Angeles.
• Onsite presence is required 50% of the time in New York City or Los Angeles, based on the candidate's location.
• 23-week engagement totaling 720 hours.
• Interview process includes interviews with Client and the end client.
