Apply directPaxus is currently seeking an experienced ICT Project Manager for a large-scale digital transformation program based in Fortitude Valley.
This is a strong opportunity for a Project Manager with proven experience delivering complex ICT, digital health, business systems or enterprise technology projects within a large and highly governed environment.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, suppliers, technical teams and delivery groups to support the successful delivery of integrated digital business solutions.
The role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the successful delivery of complex ICT projects from planning through to implementation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the planning, documentation and delivery of large-scale ICT projects
- Overseeing project schedules, risks, issues, budgets, resources and reporting
- Engaging with senior stakeholders, vendors, business users and technical teams
- Driving project governance, delivery discipline and project assurance
- Supporting business change, adoption and benefits realisation
- Managing project resources, expenses and capital costs against forecasts
- Leading and mentoring multi-disciplinary project teams
- Ensuring delivery aligns with agreed methodologies, standards and quality expectations
What we are looking for
You will be a strong match if you have:
- Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex IM/ICT projects
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Experience working in complex government, healthcare, enterprise or highly regulated environments
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, ideally PRINCE2
- Excellent communication, negotiation, consultation and facilitation skills
- Ability to manage risks, issues, budgets, schedules and reporting
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
Digital health, healthcare, government or public sector project experience will be highly regarded.
