Schedule: Monday – Friday, Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to provide legal and administrative support to attorneys by assisting with litigation matters, legal research, court filings, case management, and legislative tracking. This position supports cases in administrative, state, and federal courts while ensuring deadlines are met and legal documents are prepared accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent written communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research for litigation matters and legal opinions.
  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, briefs, and other legal materials.
  • Review, organize, and manage litigation files and legal documents.
  • Prepare and file documents in administrative, state, and federal courts.
  • Compile, annotate, and index statutes, case law, and administrative decisions.
  • Research and interpret federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and court rules.
  • Track legislation and monitor legal developments.
  • Maintain attorney calendars, including court appearances, hearings, depositions, and legal deadlines.
  • Receive and screen correspondence, phone calls, and visitors.
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation and other legal support duties.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of Paralegal experience.
  • Experience supporting litigation and legal research.
  • Knowledge of administrative, state, and federal court filing procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with civil litigation.
  • Knowledge of Arizona court rules and filing procedures.
  • Experience with legislative tracking.
  • Familiarity with legal document management systems.
  • Experience preparing legal briefs, pleadings, and opinions.
