Temporary Warehouse Receiver 1st Shift
A Warehouse Receiver manages incoming freight and materials, verifies shipment accuracy, records inventory, and coordinates with warehouse staff and vendors to maintain efficient operations. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
Common Job Duties

• Receive incoming shipments and deliveries
• Inspect products for damage, shortages, or discrepancies
• Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and packing slips
• Record and update inventory in warehouse management systems
• Label, sort, and organize products for storage
• Communicate with vendors, drivers, and warehouse personnel regarding delivery issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area
• Follow company safety procedures and warehouse protocols
• Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation
• Prepare reports on received goods and damaged items
• Coordinate transfer of products to storage or shipping departments
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods
• Knowledge of inventory procedures
• Time management and teamwork skills
