AOV & Fire Alarm Service Engineer

– North London V7 Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced AOV & Fire Alarm Service Engineer for a long-term subcontract opportunity covering North London and surrounding areas.

This is a strong opportunity for an engineer looking for consistent work, with a large existing backlog across social housing, residential and hotel contracts.

The role will predominantly involve the service, maintenance and fault finding of AOV and fire alarm systems, carrying out a mixture of planned and reactive works across occupied sites.

Scope of Work

• Service and maintenance of AOV systems
• Fire alarm servicing and PPM
• Fault finding and reactive maintenance
• Testing and inspection of AOV and fire alarm systems
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs
• Minor remedial works
• Identifying and replacing faulty components
• Completing service reports and relevant documentation
• Working across occupied residential, social housing and hotel environments
• Ensuring works are completed in line with relevant standards and client requirements

Contract Details

• £34.00–£35.00 per hour
• Outside IR35
• Weekly pay every Friday
• 5 days per week
• Long-term subcontract opportunity
• North London & surrounding areas

Requirements

• Strong experience servicing and maintaining AOV systems
• Good fire alarm service and maintenance experience
• Confident with fault finding and reactive works
• Experience across conventional and addressable fire alarm systems
• Good understanding of fire alarm PPM and testing
• Experience within social housing, residential or hotel environments beneficial
• Relevant fire/AOV qualifications beneficial
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Own tools and transport
• Able to work independently across multiple sites
