Position Summary

A textile manufacturing facility is seeking a dependable Cleaner to maintain cleanliness throughout the production area. This position works in a fast-paced environment where temperatures may become hot due to operating machinery and production processes. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, and able to perform physically demanding work while maintaining high housekeeping standards.

Essential Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain production areas, equipment, and workstations.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove lint, dust, and textile debris throughout the facility.
• Empty trash containers and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Clean floors, walkways, break areas, restrooms, and common spaces.
• Assist with keeping machinery and surrounding areas free of buildup while following safety procedures.
• Safely use cleaning equipment and approved cleaning chemicals.
• Restock cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when supplies are running low.
• Follow all company safety policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
• Perform other housekeeping and general labor duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial, manufacturing, or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a warm or hot manufacturing environment for extended periods.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace cleanliness and safety.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing facility with elevated temperatures due to production equipment.
• Exposure to dust, lint, noise, and moving machinery.
• Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
• PPE is required and must be worn at all times in designated areas.

Payrate:

$15.00/hr

Work Schedule:

7am - 5pm 
Monday - Thursday
