About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for an Estimator to join the Queensland team and develop their career within an experienced and highly regarded pre-construction function.

Working alongside senior estimating professionals, you will gain exposure to the front end of the construction lifecycle and play an important role in supporting the preparation of competitive tenders for upcoming projects.

The position will provide broad exposure across estimating, including reviewing project documentation, understanding scope and methodology, engaging with the subcontractor market, undertaking quantity take-offs and assisting with the development of project pricing.

You will also work closely with internal project teams, subcontractors and suppliers, giving you a strong understanding of how construction projects are assessed, priced and ultimately secured.

This is an opportunity to build a solid foundation in estimating while learning from an established team and gaining exposure to a diverse pipeline of construction opportunities.

About You

We are looking for someone who is motivated to continue developing a career in construction estimating and have a background in the building construction industry.

You will ideally demonstrate:

• A genuine interest in construction, estimating and pre-construction.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to interpret project information.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders.
• A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of your work.
