HR Business Partner

Our Sydney based client is a well-established accounting and tax advisory firm with a strong professional reputation and a growing team. They are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to take ownership of the HR function and partner closely with senior leadership.

This is a broad, commercially focused role combining strategic HR business partnering with hands-on HR, giving you the opportunity to influence culture, talent and the employee experience.

The Role

• Partner with senior leaders on people strategy and workforce planning.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities.
• Provide advice across employee relations, performance and workplace matters.
• Drive employee engagement, retention and talent initiatives.
• Lead performance and career development processes.
• Support organisational change and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation.
• Use people data to support business and workforce decisions.
• About You
• 5+ years’ generalist HR experience, ideally at HRBP level.
• Strong employee relations, recruitment and workforce planning experience.
• Commercially minded and confident partnering with senior leaders.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation.
• Proactive, resilient and comfortable working autonomously.
• HRIS experience; Bob experience is advantageous.
