AWX Executive is partnering with a growing residential construction business to recruit an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of residential building projects across the Townsville region.

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating trades, managing site activities, ensuring quality workmanship and maintaining construction schedules while upholding the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities across multiple residential projects
• Coordinate and supervise trades, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure efficient project delivery
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, progress and compliance
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications and purchase orders
• Maintain accurate site documentation, including:
  • Site inductions and onboarding records
  • Safety inspections and audits
  • Daily site logs and progress reports
  • Material deliveries and usage records
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with timeframes, budgets and quality expectations
• Foster a positive safety culture and ensure all WHS policies, procedures and legislative requirements are adhered to
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, clients and contractors to achieve successful project outcomes

About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Site Manager, Site Supervisor or similar construction leadership role
• Demonstrated experience delivering residential construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and site management practices
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and stakeholder management

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma of Building and Construction (Management) or related qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Current Construction White Card
• Current and valid Driver's Licence
