Licensed Beds: 25
Average Daily Census: 20 plus OP infusion
Position: Interim Director of Pharmacy plus PIC and Pharmacy Consultant for Florida
Skills required: Inpatient, 3+ years of management experience, IV, and TJC
Florida Pharmacist and Consultant licenses required
Dates of Coverage needed: start 8/31 and cover until we hire a perm candidate; outgoing DOP’s last day September 4th
Coverage Hours needed: M-F 8am – 430/5pm
No weekend coverage needed
Order Entry System: CPSI; will train
Site Automation: Omnicell
Site Specialty Areas: Acute Care ICU, OP infusion, surgery, Med Surg
Staff Size: 3 techs, 1 fulltime pharmacist, and 4 PRN pharmacists
Tech support: Compounding med prep.
Site Background/History: TJC scheduled for this fall.
Job Responsibilities: Pharmacy leadership, TJC prep, work CPA from CPS, limited staffing
Sterile compounding involved but techs usually handle
Expectations: leadership, TJC prep, work CPA from, policies, 340B
Staff will provide onsite training
Nearest Airport: Fort Myers, Palm Beach
Preferred hotel: Hampton Inn, not a big hospital so need to keep expenses low.
Dress Code: Normal business attire
