Production Shift Supervisor | County Limerick

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to join their team. Working rotating early and late shifts, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing or production supervisory experience who enjoys leading teams. This role will play a key part in ensuring production targets, quality standards and operational performance are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production operations and ensure production targets are achieved
  • Maintain high quality standards across all areas of production
  • Ensure products are dispatched on time and in line with schedules
  • Allocate labour effectively across production activities
  • Provide coaching, support and on-the-job training to production staff
  • Liaise closely with H&S, Maintenance and HR teams
  • Ensure production teams have access to materials and equipment required for smooth operations
  • Promote and enforce all health & safety procedures on site
  • Drive communication, engagement and continuous improvement initiatives across the shift team

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar production supervisory role
  • Previous experience within manufacturing, people management or process engineering
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
  • Strong team-focused approach with excellent organisational skills
  • Flexibility to work rotating early and late shifts
