Seeking a highly skilled Senior Revenue Accountant to join our dynamic team in a pivotal contract role. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in revenue recognition processes for a leading SaaS company, supporting critical month-end close activities and contract review under ASC 606. This is a remote or hybrid opportunity, ideal for professionals who can start within 1-2 weeks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review customer contracts and documentation to ensure compliance with ASC 606
  • Analyze SaaS and software arrangements, including performance obligations, modifications, and variable considerations
  • Document conclusions and support schedules for contract reviews
  • Support month-end and quarter-end revenue close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Investigate revenue discrepancies and resolve related issues
  • Reconcile data across Salesforce, NetSuite, and Stripe
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure accurate revenue reporting
  • Assist with audit support and maintain rigorous revenue documentation

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience reviewing SaaS or software contracts under ASC 606
  • Hands-on support of revenue month-end close processes
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP revenue recognition principles
  • Proficiency with NetSuite (NetSuite ARM preferred) and Salesforce
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet tight deadlines

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience in high-growth SaaS environments
  • Public company or audit-ready experience
  • CPA or equivalent professional certification
  • Familiarity with SOX controls and quarterly/annual audit processes

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of revenue accounting experience within a software or SaaS setting

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work remotely or in a hybrid setting (preferably starting on Monday in San Francisco office for hybrid)
  • Immediate availability within 1-2 weeks for onboarding
