Production Associate

Job Title: Production Associate
Location: Gates, NY

Summary: Nesco Resource is partnered with a manufacturer that is looking to add a Paco Pad Liner Assemblers to their production team! In this role precision and attention to detail are key. You will be responsible for accurately laying liners for Paco Pads to ensure proper fit, alignment, and product quality. This position is ideal for individuals with strong hand-eye coordination who take pride in detailed, hands-on work in a manufacturing environment.

Shift:

• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday

Pay:

• $17.00/Hour

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare materials and components required for Paco Pad liner assembly.

• Accurately place and position liners onto Paco Pads according to work instructions and specifications.

• Inspect liners and pads for defects, alignment, and overall quality during and after assembly.

• Ensure finished products meet established quality, appearance, and performance standards.

• Follow written and visual work instructions to maintain consistency and accuracy.

• Count, sort, package, and label completed products as required.

• Maintain detailed attention to detail to ensure proper liner placement and fit.

• Document production quantities and report any defects or issues to supervisors.

• Follow all company safety guidelines and participate in safety training sessions.

• Support and maintain LEAN manufacturing practices.

• Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.

• Cross-train in other production or assembly areas as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required.

• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail are essential.

• Ability to follow simple written and verbal instructions.

• Basic math skills for counting and tracking quantities.

• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work in a repetitive, detail-oriented environment.

• Strong time management skills and reliability.

• Regularly required to sit, use hands, talk, and hear.

• Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

• Ability to lift/move up to 5 pounds.

• Visual abilities must include close vision, color vision, and focus adjustment.

• Moderate noise level.

• Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts.
