Power BI Analyst

We are seeking a Power BI Analyst who is passionate about turning data into meaningful insights that support better business decisions. Working closely with HR and business leaders, you will develop workforce analytics, dashboards, and reporting solutions that provide actionable insights across the organisation. This role will be a 3-month casual contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for HR and workforce analytics.
• Build, optimise, and maintain data models using Power Query and DAX.
• Analyse and report on workforce metrics such as employee headcount
• Guide stakeholders on accessing, understanding, and updating required data inputs.
• Ensure data quality through validation, reconciliation, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
• Create and enhance automated reporting solutions to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
• Document data definitions, business rules, and reporting methodologies.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience developing dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M).
• Experience analysing HR, people, or workforce-related data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships and gather business requirements.
• High level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
