We are seeking an experienced Precast Steel Fixer to join a busy precast concrete manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling reinforcing steel for precast concrete products, ensuring all work is completed accurately and in line with engineering specifications, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and production specifications
- Cut, bend, assemble, and tie reinforcing steel bars and mesh
- Build reinforcement cages and position steel within moulds before concrete pours
- Ensure reinforcement is installed correctly to meet structural and quality requirements
- Perform routine quality checks and inspections
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
- Operate in accordance with workplace health and safety procedures at all times
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in steel fixing within precast concrete, manufacturing, or construction environments
- Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Physically fit with the ability to perform manual handling tasks
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety practices
