QA Inspection

The Quality Inspection associate will be responsible for monitoring the molding process to ensure conformance to all requirements. The position will require lifting of containers weighing up to 40 pounds. The associate must be able to read, understand and follow written work instructions. This associate must have some experience in inspection. Must be able to do sorting/visual inspection of parts. Must have advance knowledge of Quality requirements

• Verify parts are in the proper/correct totes/containers.
• Sort rework parts as needed.
• Release approved parts and move to the rack area dedicated to each part number.
• Sort rework parts as needed.
• Complete the Temporary work instruction for reworked parts and ensure the documentation is processed according to instructions.
• Complete 5-S activities to maintain the molding area.
• Transfer/move molded parts form the molding area to the work-in-process storage area as needed.
• Follow all general and job specific safety and operating requirements established at YAMI.
• Provide suggestions for improvements in the warehouse and other work areas.
• Other duties either temporary or permanent as required or assigned to support Quality Assurance activities at Yahagi America Molding, Inc.
• Scan nonconforming parts to nonconforming in the c-core system when placing into nonconforming cage and log parts on cage log.
