Apply directOur client, a school, is seeking a highly organized Temporary Administrative Coordinator to support the operation of admissions and enrollment processes while providing high-level administrative support in a fast-paced environment in New York City. This role is covering a leave and will approximately last until November 2026.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Admissions and Enrollment
- Manage complex calendars, scheduling, and meeting coordination
- Assist with admissions processes, including student records and documentation
- Support the preparation and organization of IEP-related paperwork and enrollment materials
- Serve as a professional point of contact for parent communications
- Coordinate enrollment-related activities and operational tasks
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of administrative deliverables
- Assist with day-to-day office operations and special projects as needed
Job Qualifications
- Previous administrative, executive assistant, or office coordination experience
- Strong calendar management and scheduling skills
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Calendar, and Gmail)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Comfortable working in a school setting and interacting with children, including students with special needs
- Experience in education, admissions, enrollment, or child-focused environments is preferred
Salary: $35/hour
