The Opportunity
Reporting to the Foreign Exchange Supervisor, you'll become a key link between finance, suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring international transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating foreign currency transactions and international supplier payments
- Assisting with FX hedging activities and currency management processes
- Preparing and maintaining Letters of Credit
- Monitoring exchange rates and supporting stakeholders with FX-related enquiries
- Recording international purchases and payments across financial systems
- Supporting the Accounts Payable function with timely invoice payments
- Ensuring transactions are compliant, accurate and completed within required timeframes
- Building strong relationships with suppliers, banks and internal teams
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives on accuracy and wants to build a long-term career within finance.
You will bring:
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Administration, Accounting Support or a similar finance role
- Exposure to foreign exchange transactions, international payments or Letters of Credit (highly regarded but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Salary package of $70,000 - $75,000 + Super + Bonus
- Hybrid working arrangement with 1 day work from home after probation
