The Opportunity

This is a hands-on generalist role where no two days are the same, combining strategic advice with day-to-day operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR advice and support to leaders across a broad range of employee relations and people matters.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and induction processes.
- Coach managers through performance management, disciplinary matters and employee relations issues.
- Develop, review and maintain HR policies, procedures, position descriptions and organisational structures.
- Coordinate performance review and succession planning processes.
- Oversee the outsourced payroll relationship and support payroll-related activities.
- Manage WorkCover, return-to-work and employee wellbeing initiatives.
- Coordinate visa and immigration processes where required.
- Produce HR reporting and workforce metrics to support business decision making.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR systems, processes and compliance.
To be successful, you'll bring:
- At least five years' experience in a standalone or HR Advisor/Business Partner position.
- Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Awards and employee relations.
- Experience partnering with leaders and providing practical, commercial HR advice.
- Previous exposure to payroll processes and HR systems (Employment Hero experience will be highly regarded).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, organised approach with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
