My client is a leading insurance organization, currently building a centralized AI Transformation team and is seeking experienced Business Analysts to drive business change across key functions such as: Customer Onboarding, Claims, Underwriting, Agency Servicing, and Distribution.

In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI, automation, and process optimization, translating operational challenges into scalable transformation initiatives. This is a business-facing role focused on improving customer journeys, operational efficiency, and Straight Through Processing (STP), rather than a traditional IT Business Analyst position. This engagement will begin as a 12-months renewable contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand processes, pain points, and transformation opportunities.
  • Analyze and redesign business processes to support AI, automation, and digital initiatives.
  • Define business requirements, future-state processes, and target operating models.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions across business and operational teams.
  • Support the delivery of AI-enabled solutions across a specific domain.
  • Drive process improvement, operational excellence, and customer experience outcomes

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience as Business Analysis, Business Consultant, Process Analyst, or Transformation Analyst within the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of one of the following domains: Onboarding, Claims, Underwriting, Policy Administration, Agency Servicing, or Distribution.
  • Experience in transformation, process optimization, business process re-engineering, operational excellence, or STP initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Exposure to AI, automation, digital transformation, RPA, or process improvement programs is highly desirable.
