This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning & Organisational Development Manager to join a large, geographically dispersed organisation undergoing an evolution of its learning and capability approach.
With a national remit, this role will lead the organisation’s approach to talent, succession, capability and learning, translating business and workforce priorities into practical programs that strengthen leadership depth, sales capability, operational effectiveness and critical talent pipelines.

The Opportunity

Your remit will include:
- Develop an organisational development and learning roadmap aligned with business and workforce priorities.
- Review and evolve existing leadership, sales and operational learning programs.
- Build contemporary leadership pathways across emerging, frontline, operational and senior leadership populations.
- Develop sales capability across areas including consultative selling, account management, negotiation, commercial fundamentals and digital selling.
- Lead online and blended learning initiatives, including compliance learning.
- Strengthen talent, succession and career planning practices, partnering with HR Business Partners and senior leaders.
- Use workforce, talent and learning data to identify capability gaps, measure effectiveness and demonstrate the value of learning investment.
- Partner with operational leaders, subject matter experts and external providers to deliver practical programs that translate into improved capability and performance.
You will be an experienced Learning, Talent or Organisational Development professional who can move comfortably between strategy and delivery. You know how to establish a clear direction, but you are equally comfortable getting into the detail to build, implement and improve programs.
Ideally, you will bring:
- Significant Learning & Development, Organisational Development, capability or talent experience within a complex, multi-site organisation.
- Demonstrated experience developing enterprise learning strategies and leadership, sales or operational capability programs.
- Strong talent and succession experience, including talent reviews, calibration, high-potential development and career pathways.
- Experience working with operational or frontline employee populations, with an understanding of what makes learning practical and relevant outside a corporate office environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to constructively challenge established approaches.
- A commercial mindset and the ability to use data and insights to demonstrate learning impact and inform priorities.
- Strong project and change management capability, coupled with a practical, hands-on approach.
