Apply directWe’re currently working with a leading enterprise organisation on an urgent requirement for a Technical Business Analyst to support a critical supply chain transformation initiative tied to a large-scale logistics and distribution uplift.
This role sits within a broader program focused on modernising warehouse and third-party logistics capabilities, with a particular focus on 3PL integration and end-to-end supply chain optimisation.
The team is looking for someone who can operate beyond traditional functional business analysis - this role requires a technical BA who is comfortable working across systems architecture, integration design, and solution definition.
The Role:
- Lead end-to-end business analysis across a complex supply chain transformation program
- Work closely with engineering, architecture and delivery teams to define technical solutions for system integrations
- Support integration of third-party logistics (3PL) providers into existing warehouse and distribution ecosystems
- Analyse current-state and future-state operational workflows across warehousing, inventory management and fulfilment processes
- Translate business and operational requirements into detailed technical requirements and solution artefacts
- Partner with stakeholders across technology, operations and supply chain functions to identify process improvements
- Work across system interfaces, APIs and integration touchpoints between internal platforms and external logistics providers
- Support delivery of enhancements across warehouse management and fulfilment systems
- Produce key documentation including process maps, requirements, user stories, technical specifications and integration workflows
Required Experience:
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst
- Strong background working across supply chain, logistics, warehousing or retail technology programs
- Previous experience delivering 3PL integrations and working with external vendor/platform connectivity
- Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems - ideally exposure to Manhattan WMS
- Ability to operate beyond traditional BA responsibilities and contribute to solution design conversations
- Strong understanding of systems integration, APIs, data flows and end-to-end architecture
- Experience working within complex retail, ecommerce or large enterprise environments highly desirable
Contract Details:
- Initial 6-month contract, with expected extensions
- Melbourne based - hybrid
- Immediate start preferred
