About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Requirements Manager / Value Manager to support the delivery of complex projects and programs within a secure government environment.
You will be responsible for capturing, analysing and managing business and technical requirements, ensuring stakeholder needs are effectively translated into practical and achievable technical solutions. Working closely with project managers, delivery teams and key stakeholders, you will drive requirements elicitation, business process analysis and change management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:

• Capturing and documenting business and system requirements.
• Facilitating stakeholder engagement activities, workshops and consultation sessions.
• Analysing business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Supporting project managers delivering complex ICT initiatives.
• Defining, validating and managing high-level and detailed requirements.
• Developing evaluation criteria and assessment frameworks.
• Conducting analysis of existing and proposed solutions to identify functionality gaps.
• Managing evolving requirements through effective change control and scope management processes.
• Collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

The Successful Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Demonstrated experience capturing, validating and managing both high-level and detailed business requirements.
• Strong ability to work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience delivering outcomes across ICT infrastructure, application development, systems integration and implementation projects.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience documenting requirements, planning activities and evaluation methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• The ability to work effectively within complex and fast-paced delivery environments.

 
Candidates must also be willing to undergo an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to engagement.

Location: The role is based in Canberra ACT.
Contract terms: 12 months from commencement date, plus 2x 12 month extensions
Experience Level: EL1 Equivalent
Security Requirements: Candidates must hold an active Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Security Clearance on submission. Our client is not looking to upgrade an existing clearance for this position. An OSA (Organisational Suitability Assessment) will be required for this position.
