About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager/Project Officer to join our local government client to lead the delivery of projects within the community.
The successful candidate will report to and take direction from Council’s Senior
Program Manager. Responsibilities include preparation and management of DRFA claims, as well as end-to-end delivery of assigned projects.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day project delivery for assigned projects.
• Maintain project documentation and filing in accordance with council requirements
• Raise issues, risks, and requests to Senior Program Manager as required or
during weekly governance meeting.
• Prepare DRFA claim information and supporting evidence ensuring the
information will be in line with audit requirements
• Prepare procurement documentation including scope, cost estimates, and
technical requirements in accordance with council
requirements
• Identify opportunities to group works into logical procurement and delivery
packages
• Identify any eligibility, procurement, or delivery risks early and report these to the Senior Program Manager
• Support knowledge transfer and capability development within council where required

- A degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in civil and infrastructure project delivery

funded programs
