About the Role:
As a Software Engineer specializing in AI and autonomous systems, you will be at the forefront of technological innovation. Your expertise will drive the development of intelligent agents, conversational interfaces, and integrated AI-powered applications. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust, scalable AI solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Python development for AI/ML projects
• Proficiency with PyTorch (or a strong willingness to learn)
• Deep understanding of AI agents, chatbots, and voice-based systems
• Hands-on experience or strong interest in building conversational AI solutions
• Knowledge of RAG system components: vector databases, embeddings, retrieval strategies, prompt engineering
• Familiarity with major LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta) and their performance trade-offs
• Strong grasp of transformer neural networks and attention mechanisms
• Experience integrating AI into applications or a dedicated eagerness to learn application development

Nice to Have Skills:

• Proficiency in Kotlin programming
• Full-stack development experience (backend & frontend)
• Cloud software development expertise (AWS, GCP, Azure), especially microservices architecture
• Experience with REST APIs, gRPC, Kafka
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with AI frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years of professional experience in AI/ML development and application integration

• Location: Onsite in San Diego, CA (5 days per week)
• Employment Type: W2 Only
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension)
