Apply directEnvironmental non-profit Redress is looking for a Programme Manager to deliver a 1-year project from September 2026 to August 2027. The ‘Value Wardrobe’ project aims to empower senior secondary students from low-income families to become informed, financially capable, and responsible fashion consumers through education and experiential learning. The project addresses fast fashion overconsumption by strengthening financial literacy, sustainable decision-making, and future-ready skills. The project includes 3 key elements: school talks, skills development workshops and the organisation of a student-led secondhand festival in Sham Shui Po. The project will be mainly delivered in Cantonese.
This role will suit an energetic person with excellent people and communication skills, strong teaching skills and a passion for youth education and sustainability.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the project timeline and delivery of the planned activities to ensure achievement of the set KPIs and budget
- Handle the outreach and communication with partners, including guest speakers, school principals, teachers, students, and various vendors for the Festival
- Lead on the educational direction of the project, including developing the content for workshops and monitoring the content to be delivered by external speakers
- Deliver the workshops, activities and the Festival
- Establish data tracking mechanisms to record impact data as well as spendings, and ensure on-time reporting to the funder
- In close collaboration with the Communications team, devise a communication plan and propose content for promotion of the project (social media, website, etc) and especially that of the Festival
- As part of the Redress team, supports the wider activities, e.g. the bi-annual pop-up shops
Main reporting line: Circular Fashion Programme Director
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE:
- Undergraduate university degree
- Minimum 3 years relevant working experience
- Experience working with schools, students, teachers, educators or curriculum development is a must
- Existing connections within the local school network in Hong Kong will be a plus
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Cantonese and English
- Passion for sustainability and education
- Eligible to live and work in Hong Kong
