ChoiceOne is currently seeking a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join a local government workshop based south of the river.
This role offers full-time hours, a 9-day fortnight, overtime rates, and the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

About the role
  • Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance on a varied fleet of vehicles, trucks and small plant equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs efficiently
  • Work independently while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality
  • Monday to Friday roster with a 9-day fortnight
To be successful you will have
  • Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Mechanical qualification
  • Experience maintaining fleet vehicles and/or plant equipment
  • White Card
  • HR Licence (desirable)
  • Current driver's licence and reliable transport
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
  • Current Police Clearance (or willing to obtain one)
  • Strong work ethic, reliability and a commitment to workplace safety
