Apply directWe are looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager with a strong background in federal construction and USACE quality requirements.
Essential requirements:
- 10+ years of construction experience
- 5+ years of experience as a QC Manager
- Current USACE CQM-C (Construction Quality Management for Contractors) certification
- Professional Engineer (PE) licence/stamp OR Licensed Architect qualification – mandatory
- 4-year degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering Technology or Building Construction
- Experience working on federal/government construction projects
- Strong experience conducting QC inspections of work installed by others
- Experience preparing and maintaining QC reports and documentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with the Project Manager and onsite project team
- Ability to work 100% onsite in Norfolk, Virginia
The successful candidate will oversee quality-control activities on an active construction site, ensuring work is completed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards and USACE CQM-C requirements.
