About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, with light weekend call
- Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Setting: In-person, medical center
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized radiation oncology treatment plans
- Perform therapeutic simulation, isodose distribution, treatment delivery, and ongoing management
- Provide follow-up care after treatment completion
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary cancer care team to support optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in program development, process improvement, and communication with referring physicians
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree
- Board certification or board eligibility in Radiation Oncology
- Ability to participate in tumor board meetings on Fridays at 7:30 AM
- Commitment to evidence-based, team-oriented patient care
Desired Skills:
- Experience in radiation oncology treatment planning and delivery
- Familiarity with HDR, CT, Clinac 2300, SRS, and SBRT
- Experience working with oncology support teams, including nursing, physics, dosimetry, social work, and rehabilitation services
- Interest in program growth and quality improvement initiatives
