A community hospital in the Kansas City metro area is seeking an experienced Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner to join its full-time night team, providing high-quality inpatient care in a collaborative hospital medicine environment.


Position Highlights:

  • Full-time, hospital-employed position
  • Nights only with a 7-on/7-off block schedule
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Open ICU environment
  • Average of 18–20 patients per shift
  • Assist physicians with patient rounding and admissions
  • Practice under a Collaborative Practice Agreement
  • Collaborative hospitalist team focused on high-quality patient care


Qualifications:

  • MSN with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Current state Advanced Practice Nurse license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of inpatient Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner experience required
  • Experience with electronic health records
