ANZ Quality Director

Are you an experienced quality leader who thrives in complex manufacturing environments and enjoys balancing strategic leadership with operational excellence?

We are seeking an ANZ Quality Director to lead quality strategy, governance, and performance across a multi-site manufacturing network in Australia and New Zealand. This newly created leadership position has been established to strengthen regional quality capability, support future growth initiatives, and provide dedicated oversight across multiple regulated manufacturing operations.

Reporting into global quality leadership, the ANZ Quality Director will provide strategic oversight across multiple manufacturing sites while supporting significant transformation projects, quality system improvements, and organisational development initiatives. 

You will work closely with site leadership teams, serving as a trusted partner and advisor on quality, compliance, business performance, and continuous improvement. This position requires a leader who can operate autonomously, influence at senior levels, and confidently make decisions that support both compliance and commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities 

• Act as the lead quality authority for Australia and New Zealand.
• Develop and execute regional quality strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Lead quality planning activities across multiple manufacturing sites
• Provide oversight of quality operations across biologics, pharmaceutical and other regulated manufacturing activities.
• Lead quality involvement in major site transformation and capability expansion projects.
• Lead, coach and develop site quality leaders across the ANZ network.
• Build a culture of  ownership and high performance.
• Develop future leadership talent and succession pipelines.

• Extensive quality leadership experience within pharmaceutical, biologics, biotechnology, animal health, medical device or similarly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience leading quality teams across multiple sites or regions.
• Strong understanding of GMP, quality systems, regulatory compliance and inspection readiness.
• Demonstrated success leading organisational change, quality transformation or large-scale improvement initiatives.
• Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships and influencing at executive level.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to align quality outcomes with broader business objectives.
• A track record of developing teams, managing performance and building leadership capability.
