Senior Pharmacovigilance Manager, Sydney

Our client, a global healthcare organisation with a market-leading portfolio, is seeking a Senior Pharmacovigilance Manager to lead PV across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Medical Director and holding a seat on the Medical Leadership Team, this is a rare opportunity to influence strategy, build organisational capability and develop a high-performing team while serving as the recognised Pharmacovigilance expert across the business.

Leading a highly capable Pharmacovigilance team, this role is ultimately about building capability, developing future leaders and creating a strong talent pipeline for the organisation.

You will provide strategic oversight of all Pharmacovigilance activities across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring compliance with local and global regulations while partnering with senior stakeholders to drive both business outcomes and patient safety excellence. Responsibilities include leadership of PV operations, safety reporting, compliance activities, regulatory interactions, audits, inspections and quality initiatives.

You are a respected Pharmacovigilance professional with:

• Significant experience within Pharmacovigilance in the pharmaceutical industry
• Demonstrated success leading, coaching and developing teams
• Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand PV regulations
• The ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups
• A passion for developing people and building future leaders
• Strong executive presence and confidence contributing at leadership level
• A degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences or a related discipline
